On Monday 23rd August 2010 qualifiers from the regional rounds will play the newest of the Links courses, the Castle Course. Set on a dramatic cliff top location, with stunning views over St. Andrews Bay and out to the North Sea, the Castle Course combines breathtaking beauty with wonderful golf. Designed by leading Scottish course architect David McLay Kidd the Castle Course is the seventh course at the Home of Golf. Measuring 7200yds (Par 72) this course will be a challenge for all those who qualify and a great test for the best to go on to play the Old Course on Tuesday 24th August 2010.

Golf was first played at the Old Course around 1400 and is acknowledged as the Home of Golf. The Old Course has played host to the greatest golfers in the World and many of golf's most dramatic moments. Walking down the 18th in the spike marks of the world's greatest golfers is a dream that few have experienced. Perhaps it will be you in 2010?
