plans for the People's Open Golf Tournament 2009. |

This will again feature Regional
Qualifying Rounds which will be played in 10 regions
during May, June and July. There
will be 10 courses selected with a target of up to
60 players per course, with the top 6 to qualify for
The Final.
The Final will be a 18 hole
tournament which will be played at Turnberry Golf
Club on Saturday 10th October 2009 (Ailsa
Course).
We shall again be using Stableford
scoring 3/4 of handicap maximum 24.
All the finalists will be offered
overnight accommodation at Turnberry.
The entry price will be the same
as 2008 namely £75.00 per person.
Bookings for POGT 2009 are
now being taken. You can register your place online
or by telephone.
NOTE
In order to finalise arrangements for 2009, it is
a requirement that the format of playing Regional
Qualifying Rounds is met. We shall not be
able to meet this requirement without your bookings.
